NICU Facilities

NICU Facilities – Babies will be closely monitored throughout their stay in the NICU. This means wires, tubes, patches, probes, and machines – which can all be scary. It can be difficult to watch your little one being poked and prodded and hooked up to machines. Knowing that it’s all for their own good, and understanding a little bit about what you’re seeing and hearing, may help to ease some of the fear.

PICU

The PICU is the section of the hospital that provides sick children with the highest level of medical care. What makes the PICU different from other parts of the hospital is that this area allows intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of things like heart rate, breathing and blood pressure.

Vaccines

Immunization is an important and effective health intervention for children. Over the course of history, it has helped keep millions of children protected against infectious and life-threatening diseases.
Vaccines have been so effective that some diseases that were once feared are now either eradicated or easily manageable. Yet, in the recent past many new diseases are emerging too. This makes immunization of a child even more important.

IUI Treatment

Intrauterine Insemination is a type of artificial insemination process and a subset of assisted-reproductive techniques. In it, the sperm are collected beforehand and inserted into the uterus of the woman, near the egg. Intrauterine Insemination involves ‘washing’ of the sperm, where the best quality sperm are extracted from the collected sample for the procedure. Since it is assisted, it removes the general distance a sperm has to travel under normal insemination, and thus improve the chances of fertilization.
Intrauterine Insemination is usually considered the first line of reproductive solution for couples who are having trouble getting pregnant from normal intercourse.

Ovarian cyst - Symptoms, Causes, Types, Complications, Prevention & Treatment

An ovarian cyst is a fluid-filled sac that develops either on or inside the ovaries. Most ovarian cysts are harmless (non-cancerous), differ in size and develop for various reasons. The ovarian cysts do not cause any symptoms, however, a cyst can be problematic if it gets bigger, bleeds or causes pain.
